Seattle Traffic Attorney | You Can't Win Them All

We know what you think of Seattle traffic attorneys - they aren't good enough to hack it anywhere else, or they are schemers, or they are just too lazy to do "real" legal work. But the truth is, for many of us, we see our jobs as an important one. We don't make a lot of money on a single case, but we save our clients thousands of dollars in fines and insurance fees every day. And we save our clients from bogus speeding tickets or valid speeding tickets by pointing out what our clients don't have the expertise to know - that police officers are so busy they make a lot of mistakes when it comes to traffic citations.

I'm sure you love to hear about how we can get you out of your Seattle speeding ticket. I'm sure it makes you all warm and fuzzy inside. But here is the thing - we don't win them all. And it isn't for lack of trying. Sometimes the police just cross their t's, dot their i's, and catch you speeding or making an illegal turn or something of that nature.

So, when I hear a Seattle traffic lawyer out there touting "over 90% win percentages" and things like that, it kind of makes me cringe. The reason is this. It doesn't matter what they've done in the past because your Seattle traffic ticket is not going to be like any other. It will be a different time of day on a different street with a different officer and a different radar. So it is impossible to know if we can beat your Seattle speeding ticket just because we've done so before (and we have done so before - on several occasions).

I hope a few bad apples don't ruin the reputation of all of us. As a Seattle traffic lawyer I take pride in my work - and I often get a good outcome for the client. I think that says something about my work, but I think it also says something about luck of the draw. Either you have something to work with or you don't. And you usually don't know that until you see the infraction and discovery.
